Catch and release essentially. Used for service twice. Minimal patina that I can remove. Never sharpened. Actually enjoyed this knife, surprisingly. I’ve used Ashi’s before and just shrugged em off, but these are some no bulls*** performers. Edge holds pretty well for shiro. Comes with a saya (lost the pin, but comes with a replacement “frilly thiiiiings” pin”) that’s a little dinged up.
