Gokinko steel (no longer available; this is the OG steel you used to read about on KnifeForums back in the day)

Blade height just a hair under 43mm

Bought at Tsukiji outer market (old location) in April 2016 and used maybe 5 times since then. Blade has scratches from initial sharpening at factory store in the fish market where i bought it. Never sharpened since.
