A 240mm in HHH dammy wearing a mammoth ivory and bog oak laminate.

Now thats a great combo.
I always did like that handle, but this combination really sings.
Well done sir!

You should be very proud of this one

Beautiful piece. And I may have to steal that handle design...

Stefan

That is a really great piece of dammy! And the handle is over the top as well!

Now, mammoth ivory and 5k+ years old bog oak... that's gotta be the "Primeval Handle" by definition! :)

Here's the specs

overall length = 376mm
blade length = 253mm
edge length = 238mm
height = 46mm
over heel = 2.79mm
mid = 1.95mm
inch before tip = 0.92
tip = 0.49

She is for sale, I am asking $700 plus PP fees shipped. Thanx for looking.

I really like the shape of that handle! The cross-section looks more rectangular than a traditional octagonal handle but still has rounded off corners, right?

Yes it's rectangular.I wanted to leave the ivory scales in the shape they came,hence the wonky shape which I love.I am also in love with the feel of the ivory,I was working on another ivory/ironwood laminate today:doublethumbsup:

She is sold pending funds........Thanx

Very nice. I like the blade profile, too. Congrats to the buyer.

Really curious how this knife has been. Such a stunning piece, would love to hear more. (better yet, add it to my line up :angel2: )
