Always wanted to try one, especially now that I’ve fallen completely into the yo/dark side. And I have to say, impressive. Remind me of my Takamura Uchigumo, because of the excellent distal taper. It’s really hard trying to find yo knives that actually have some decent meat on the spine at the handle, so this was definitely a breath of fresh air. Sharpened once to test the steel, it sharpens pretty easily considering it’s SG2. Holds an edge like nobody’s business, as well. The grind is also veddy nice, convex. There are some hairline scratches on both sides, but besides from that, it’s a relatively newish knife. Perfect for BOH folks, or someone that wants a sick, stainless “beater”. Comes with the original box.
