Was a project TF Mabo. After thinning , it became my everyday knife.

Beautiful cutter. Used it on everything from onions, potatoes, carrots, most veg (nothing hard and dense like squash yet) and proteins.

Aesthetics:
- Brush finish w conditioning belt, hammer marks aren’t as prevalent but the kanji is strong.
- Scratches that show up in the light w certain angles.
- Common F&F issues w handle (imperfections and inconsistencies associated w TF, but didn't bother me).
- Light patina.
