I’m making an appearance in the BST this week to offer up a few gems to the gang. My knife drawer is getting full and sacrifices must be made. Let’s kick things off with a Yanick!

First up today is a big ol’ kiritsuke in excellent condition. This one was originally sold by Carbon Knife Co and came to me by way of DM from an extremely kind soul on the KKF.

It’s a big hunk of knife done up beautifully to Yanick’s standards sporting a gorgeous walnut burl handle. It’s sharp and clean and needs to be used! A bit too much knife for little old me, but hoping it will be someone else’s Goldilocks.

Really glad I didn’t see this. One of the most crazy looking yanick out there and I love the specs and profile. Almost like a suuuuper xl nakiri with a slight tip.
