Old stock made by Takahashi Seisakusho, an OEM of gyuto in the Tokyo area that closed in 2013. Steel feels like a hybrid between white and SKD in sharpening, edge, and use. So like a semi-stainless but mostly toward carbon. Harder feeling than ashi, masahiro and masakane. Very thin symmetrical convex. Handle gap I filled with beeswax. Hollow bolster. Old stock from a Sakai warehouse. Handle wood has figuring. Cuts as well as Ashi and similar lasers. Straightened.
