Hi everyone,

Another piece in Aeb-l at 61 HRC, this time it is a slicer.

280mm sakimaru sujihiki, the blade is hand-sanded to 600 grit. Rounded polished spine/choil. The handle is made from blackwood with resin and brass shavings spacer. Balance point at the makers mark.

Cutting edge - 280mm
Height - 44mm
Overall length - 454mm
Weight - 241g
Spine - 2.90mm at the handle, 2.5mm at 140mm, 1.6mm at the tip
Edge - 1.1mm at 10mm, 0.6mm at 5mm, 0.15 at 1mm
Handle - 142mm, 19.5mm x 25mm front, 21.5mm x 27mm back.
