Hi everyone,
I plan to sell a lot of my japanese natural stones. Not that I am thinking to stop stone polishing but I just have way too much for my use and start to have a good selection of the stones I really use, most of them in 2 exemplaries.
Let's talk about the stones I want to sell : those 3 stones are about in the same range, 6kish stones, for some they will be a good finishing stone to make a kasumi, for others they will be preparing stone before a finer stone. All can give a great keen edge with still agressiveness.
I have bought those stones quite some time ago, prices were not crazy when I bought so I gonna pass that deal to you as I would like to sell fast if possible.
Shipping is not included, but I can ship everywhere. More pictures in direct message.

1. Nakayama (?), 215x85x45mm, 2050 grams. 350 euros Sold
Bought on Buyee to Stipote for the ones who go on buyee, also instagram account @japanese_natural_whetstone. Said it is a Nakayama considering the kawa (which is gorgeous by the way), but no stamps. It is a really big stone, shape is not perfectly square and you'll need a stone holder because of the kawa not being flat. One line (where there is namazu) can be felt a bit when sharpening but not scratching anything. It is softer than the other 2, maybe LV3. It is quite versatile stone as it can be quite fast and coarse if you prep with atoma 140 and will self slurry easily, but it can give a fine finish prep with atoma 400 and worked with more water.
2. Tomae, 208x75x35, 1320 grams. 300 euros Sold
Bought on Kurashige website. Mine Unknown but clean tomae layer, no lines. The stone is very well cut, perfectly square and will sit properly without stone holder. Good size. It is harder stone than previous one, maybe LV3.5. It feel harder and I am sure it will work great for knives and wooden tools. It is very fast stone as it self slurry very easily. When you use the stone, delicious smell and I love the contrast of the color of the slurry with the brown on the stone. In the end it gives a finish and can be use as easily as the previous softer stone. Kasumi finish with nice contrast.
3. Ohira suita, 210x75x38, 1425 grams. 450 euros Sold
Bought on a german website. One stamp on the bottom but don't think it say ohira. It is a bit like the tomae but it got a better feel, better texture. Feel a bit elastic when you use it. As Fast and finer. Lines can't be felt and don't scratch. It will self slurry too and will make good kasumi with contrast, nice color of the steel and little details in the clad start to pop. I have used that stone a lot and I really appreciate the finish especially on damascus clad, but also on any san mai knife that would need a good preparation or a refine kasumi with contrast.
