The mother of all sujis - the JNS wakui workhorse sujihiki, made to specs of Kato sujis.

285x50, 342 grams, ironclad Shiro 2

Stock JNS handle had the balance point almost halfway down the blade lol. Swapped out for a nice ebony and buffalo horn, but the horn cracked from the heat of the install. Lesson learned, filled with wax for now. Brings the balance point to the second kanji from the bolster (approx 55mm from bolster). And of course the hand chiseled kanji is amazing, some of the most textured and deep I’ve seen.

It's a bit tall but I'd expect it to tick a lot of the boxes, if you're willing to go for carbon.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm on the coast these days tho and humid af so I think all carbon is gonna be a no no. Nice knife though GLWS to the seller.
