White steel. Iron is more abradable than usual.

Keener than hide blue 1, shiraki white 2. . . . Keenest Sakai knife I've used so far, which includes tatsuo ikedas white 2.

Bevel has been flattened. The shinogi near tip is the major low section, and slight part near the egde at the heel.

Some slight rust I need to clean up. I also want to polish the blade road more. Also will carefully straighten before shipping.
