This one is big, clean, and beautiful. Not much to say about these stones that isn’t already known. 4k ish and fairly hard. Leaves a nice contrasty finish that can be burnished to show great detail and have a slightly more polished core. Not too hard to need a forced slurry but faster with one. Fantastic toothy edges as well.
Hope you can see the banding and grain this brought out even in this mundane cheap yanagiba.
