Very nice Black Arkansas stone, actual dimensions 8 x 2 7/8 x 1/2 inch. Comes in the typical Arkansas stone box.
Very smooth, slow polishing stone in line with all other surgical blacks of this caliber.
It was quite flat when I purchased it, but I did flatten both sides again to 400 grit SiC on float glass, and carried one side to 1200 grit wet dry paper on a surface plate. Both sides lightly used and do have some basic metal deposition.
Retail for this stone now is $248.
