I'm not 100% sure but I reckon stores cannot waive VAT but you'll have to reclaim it at the airport or via sending in some paperwork.

she would be really pissed. i actually asked her to buy two of them, but she said she was not wiling to go back into the frenzy.. i would have ebayed the second one for sure.

Oh yeah, in 2012, at Hermes, this (admittedly very fine) jacket was listed at €91,000.
