This aizu is on the finer side, I'd estimate it roughly around 4k grit. It turns a pale green color when wet. Originally from Watanabe, it's Aizu #1 on his site. Got this from another member recently for the purpose of sharpening, but too much overlap with other stones I already use for edges. I haven't tried polishing with it, but ran a kiridashi across it to give you an idea of the potential finish.
