I didn't think I'd ever possibly consider this one for a trade, but I ended up getting three customs in last month so I'm open to it now. This one's in Crew forge the mono steel which makes it a little bit of a unicorn. As Alex has said this was so tough to grind. He wouldn't do another mono steel. Personally, I prefer clad knives and I'm only about 30 minutes from Alex so I always have the opportunity to make another CruforgeV in the future. This one is 9.1 in, weight is shown in the pictures I've owned it for a few months and used on quite a few meals, but it still has the original edge. Never stopped or sharpened. This thing has unbelievable and retention. My interest in a trade would be another gyuto, preferably something clad maybe in a wrought iron or similar. Also open to trade-in for a couple knives if you have anything interesting. Let me know if you have any other questions.

I’m assuming it’s just the wording. Or perhaps just the way I’m reading it. You are saying in the future if you wanted this steel, you could go to Alex and you make one. I’m assuming under his supervision. You didn’t make this one though, right

Sorry just the wording. I am saying I live close to Alex and could easily get one made in San Mai. He won't do monosteel again. I, unfortunately can't make knives😁

Oh boi that’s beautiful… only if I have something to trade… Alex charges around $100 per inch now, $700 for 9inch is an amazing deal.
