… and another “big gun” that needs to become the centrepiece of somebodies collection. It could be called a “workhorse” Gyuto were it not for the exquisite balance and grind. Check out the pics below if you need proof. Evan Antzenberger needs no introduction to any serious knife enthusiast, and is another maker that I could build a collection around. I don’t see myself doing that in the near term so this sole example that I have of Antzenberger’s work needs a new home. It’s a good one.
It’s a full tang Honyaki example of Evan’s work. Steel unknown by by reports of the previous owner wonderful on the stones. Handle material unknown but excellent f&f typical of Antzenberger‘s work. I’m looking for $800 shipped and insured in North America.
