This 100 dollar rock shipped today
DAC71A59-C9AC-4F01-BEF6-0FDF52E10EAD.jpeg

I’m excited, medium fine grit. They said it’s close a 2,000 grit synthetic.

Question for u guys: I just splash n go with this correct? And then form a slurry to polish the edge on it?

Thanks

I shared this a few days ago in another thread about natural stones. Two of the sides opposite each other should be faster than the other two.

Yes you can definitely use the same atoma plate. But make sure to rinse thoroughly to avoid grit contamination. Looks like a nice stone! Keep a spray bottle at ready as it may drink water very quickly.
Also experiment working the mud as it dries into a sticky paste. Often the mud will break down very fast in this state and become a lot finer

Who did you buy it from if you dont mind me asking? I actually just ordered an aoto myself from vernal cutlery. They are waiting till monday to ship it, and its eating me alive waiting on this thing I can't wait for it!

Anyway it looks a lot like I'm expecting mine to look, I would love to hear how you are liking yours. I know every stone is different, but it would give me an idea.
