I’m excited, medium fine grit. They said it’s close a 2,000 grit synthetic.

Question for u guys: I just splash n go with this correct? And then form a slurry to polish the edge on it?

Yes you can definitely use the same atoma plate. But make sure to rinse thoroughly to avoid grit contamination. Looks like a nice stone! Keep a spray bottle at ready as it may drink water very quickly.
Also experiment working the mud as it dries into a sticky paste. Often the mud will break down very fast in this state and become a lot finer
 
Who did you buy it from if you dont mind me asking? I actually just ordered an aoto myself from vernal cutlery. They are waiting till monday to ship it, and its eating me alive waiting on this thing I can't wait for it!

Anyway it looks a lot like I'm expecting mine to look, I would love to hear how you are liking yours. I know every stone is different, but it would give me an idea.
