I was cleaning up our garage and I found a little aoto. I got this one for free as well. It's a bit of an oddball, this little guy. As we all know an aoto has the grain running straight along the length of the stone but this one was flipped 90 degrees. What would normally be the side is the sharpening face on this one. It still works like an aoto would, it just feels a bit different from a regular aoto, not necessarily worse. It's on the upper end of medium hard and finishes in the 2000-3000 range. The size is 153x50x37mm. It has a couple of spots on the surface, don't know what happened or got on it but they don't interfere with sharpening. As with my other giveaways I'd like it to go to someone who's never used a jnat. Shipping is €13 in the EU and $29 to other parts of the world. The first one who PM's me gets it.

So why the giveaways? Well, they're small stones and I got them for free and I don't use them. Might as well give them to someone to get their feet wet with jnats instead of letting them collect dust.

The stone is available again. Not even a thank you from F-Flash. That doesn't fly with me. The initial "I want it" doesn't sit well with me either.

You're a good guy Palm. I would've loved to try an aoto. Doesn't seem to be any good ones left

It's sad because they're so nice to use. I'll see what I can find and shoot you a PM if I can get a decent one.

Hi there, maybe F-Flash was busy.

PalmRoyale’s enthusiasm is always fantastic. I appreciate his work & organization for all fun, lovely stone giveaways. It takes guts to do it. I was the lucky recipient on February 1, 2019. He is kind, generous & communication is beyond fantastic! Thank you so much!

    Palmroyale is a horrible person!
I was quite happy with my crappy synth stones but I stupidly fell for his traps and got one of his giveaways. Now I'm contemplating if I really do need 2 kidneys or if I'm better off selling one to buy more stones :p
Jokes aside, he's one of the nicest, most helpful people I've met on this forum, great guy to talk to!
Congrats on the aoto, you'll love it.

This is generous! This is why I love this community.

One day, I would like to try one myself, but fairly happy with synt for now
