Someone here ever used the Bester 4000 stone ? There is not a lot of information about this stone. I remember Bryan Raquin seems to really like it for wide bevels before finishers.

How is the hardness, speed, finish left. From what I have read it is splash and go.

is it the same as the Imanishi Tamago 4000? if it's the same then it is a really nice stone. slightly toothy but able to shave hair. feedback is similar to Arashiyama, but it is a semi soaking stone.

Never heard of the tamago stone but after a quick search it looks very similar to the bester 4000.

How would you compare this one to let’s say a Rika 5k ?

    Thanks !

never tried Rika 5k, it is in my wish list. But I'm guessing they have the similar finish. the Tamago leave slightly more polished than a Chosera 3K.
