Hallo.

As mentioned in earlier threads I am searching for a good and protective way to store my knifes in a drawer. That unfortunately is to low for most "in drawer" solutions.

So now I consider some kind of blade guard and simply laying the knifes on a kitchen towel. Anyone familiar with the zwilling/bisbell magnetic blade guards? Are they any good, will they protect the blade without scratching or dulling the edge ?
It is these ones I am talking about

Thanks, and have a nice weekend

I haven't used those guards, but I'd be worried about the complexity of the design. Awkward to use, I suspect.

I have bunch of felt-lined blade guards, which work fine. There are lots of different manufacturers making that style.

Magnetic guards and carbon or semi-stainless are not a good idea.
Any accidental moisture could be a disaster

The glue has given way between the flexible magnet and plastic case on every magnetic guard I have had.

Adhesives and commercial kitchens many times don't go together well

I ended up with this solution instead of the blade guards..works great. Unfortunately it only holds the knifes I use the most.
