Hi my name is Ryan and I've got the bug like many of you. I've only been introduced to Japanese knifes for about 3 years now and I've been cursed with the worst thing that can happen to a knife fanatic...left handedness. I've been getting my double bevels out of the way and not I'm about ready starting to try and find my single bevel quiver. I look forward to nerding out with y'all. I enjoy finding beat up knives and bringing them back to life and gifting them to friends and family. I'll be sure to post some pictures of my next projects.

Hi Ryan, welcome! I am left-handed and found it to be less of a problem than I used to think. Quite a few knives are decently symmetrical now, and it is possible to re-learn if one is really serious about it :D
