All these custom variations with the wenge and timascus are making me wonder if you guys just got crazy variations of the default configuration hahaha

I just happened to have wenge sitting around. And I thought that was the best extra piece of wood I had to go with the mokume.

And also kinda wanted to see what it would look like.

I think default is amazing, when I saw that crystallized copper I got jealous, didn't even know you could do that. I just asked for the timascus since I have a bunch of folders with it, and I know he had some laying around and thought it would be cool to get a gyuto with it.

I think a tasmanian blackwood with some zirc would be awesome. Polished dark zirc would contrast so well

I have had mine for about a week now. Aka: taz#21 it’s not just a looker, it’s a cutter. Real nice taper up front.

Idk why I saw the picture on the left and thought it was the handle and it broke off around the tang or something, and almost panicked lol. Then I realized it was a piece of cork.

Had just enough blackwood that got cut off from a block that it wasn't enough for a knife handle. So I made a new handle for my kiln. Since over the last week I was doing some repairs on it from some damage that happened between the first and second m2 batch.

I like it. It polished up well and feels super smooth. The red oak I had on before didn't. Also it looks awesome. I should use the exotic wood scraps I have laying around for more stuff. I save them but they just sit there.

That looks really nice!

Its getting done in the next group of knives I'm working on.

I might put this thing up for sale soon. I made it like a year ago. Because I sold someone an m4 gyuto. They said after the knife got to Finland post it disappeared. So I made this one out of my pocket to replace it with magnacut. I asked them to just pay for shipping since mailing to Finland costs a lot of money.

I haven't heard from them since. And I just have this sitting around.

I forgot it was made for a left handed person. But I could probably pretty easily adjust it to be neutral instead. Idk how many lefties are out there.

On behalf of Finnish people, sorry, **** that guy.

Idk if the first one ended up making it to him somehow. And he just never got back to me. Or what happened. Hopefully the person is ok. I just genuinely don't know. But I've had this sitting around wrapped in that paper I forget the name of to prevent rust for like a year. And I feel like I've given it enough time.

If they eventually do get back to me I guess I can just remake it again.
