I tried to show the small amount of what looks like pitting, but it is all on the surface. You cannot feel anything with your finger nail. Other than that, it is in very good, used condition. Bloodroot tests all their knives for hrc, and this is very hard 52100, probably some of the best out there. These knives are hard to get. Retail was 950.00 asking 500 shipped and insured CONUS 400 delivered!
