I was fortunate enough to land this rare Bloodroot Nakiri.
170mm
175g
HRC 64
Reclaimed sawblade
Copper beech handle

Bloodroot has a monthly auction otherwise it’s 5 year wait. The fit and finish lives up to the reputation.

Always trying to hit the Nakiri...

Have you tried it? If so how is it? How's the grind?

What's your price on this one?

The original price at Bloodroot was $550 in December (or at least a nakiri with identical spec’s). Were there improvements added?

Scarcity, shipping costs, PayPal fees and inflation my friend. I’ve been very fair in my other sales and purchases. I do not feel this is out of line as I assume it’s going to eventually go for less than I’m asking. I’m not looking to make a fortune. I’m tens of dollars from a break even point when you figure in the costs.
