This one has been with me for a while now, lovingly used.
What Bloodroot once called a “Halibut Blade”, if I recall correctly.
Saya is stiff leather sporting a belt/apron string loop so it can be rocked from the hip should you wish.
Blade has some flex which makes it more versatile in the butchering game. Blade does show signs of use, of course. Some scuffs and such, but nothing that really leaps out until close inspection or bright exposure from camera. I tried to catch it as well as possible with these cell phone pics

Facts:

Steel- 52100
Length- 244mm (9.6”)
Height 28.16mm
Thickness out of handle 3.1mm
Weight- 143.32g
Handle- Joes green coffee bag

Price $575 which includes shipping conus and PayPal. For International shipping the first $15 is covered.
No trades please.

This blade has taken down many a holiday turkey for our families nourishments. It’s perfect for roasts as well as filleting sides of fish.

There's been some inquiry on how much flex this blade has. Overall it's very stiff, but will flex with a good amount of strong effort. It's not going to flex when sharpening.
Here's a pic to show how much flex there is. Again, this is with me pushing pretty hard on it. I consider this the perfect amount of flex for butchery.
