Keep in mind, that you'll have to pay import fees when importing from the UK (around 25%), therefore I would probably choose a shop from Europe (or Japan).

Regarding your question#1:
I don't know too much about the knife from Sakai Kikumori, but between the two, I would choose the Yoshikane.

Regarding question #2:
The first 2 knives are hand forged by blacksmiths, the other knives are (as far as I'm aware) factory made (roll forged I think) and the rest is made by hand. Therefore these latter knives are often cheaper, but they are still pretty good and not much worse than the hand forged knives. IMO these knives are great Japanese beginner knives without breaking the bank.

And if I'm in London and I fly the knife back to Europe
Do I still have to pay import duty on the knife ?

Is there a knife shop in Europe that is reasonably priced ?))))

meesterslijpers & cleancut are probably the biggest shops and have on average the lowest prices.
I myself have also a very small shop with similar prices.

Other than that, I'm not really familiar with smaller European shops that are known for reasonable prices, but maybe somebody else knows.

Cleancut is great. And I don't think any of those knives are "worse" than the others, just different. I like the first one a lot because I like togashi steel. I would suggest filling out the knife questionnaire to figure out what would work best for you. What kind of properties are you looking for
