Can anyone identify this brand?

Found in Cherbourg France. for €1 by a friend. We can’t identify the brand name, interested in possible date too. The fireman and ladder looks like a trade mark. Under that there appears to be the faded word ‘France’. Below that it says “Qualite Superieur”

I think the brand mark is the fireman and ladder. The mark below that says ‘qualite superieur’

Maker seems to be Guelon:

I'm not sure if that would be the same as F. Guelon (brothers from knife-making families seem to set out on their own a lot... so the same name isn't always indicative of the same 'brand').
