Thanks. Both are gyutos but don’t have that Mt Fuji stamp on the back side.Don't they use GT to mean gyuto? Show some pics of the knives themselves.
Edit: oh yeah the FM= fujiyama and the FT is Takada sharpened apparently.
No its just a konosuke gyuto sharpened by takadaThanks. Both are gyutos but don’t have that Mt Fuji stamp on the back side.

Both are doisShow us the Doi and the Hattori(?) too
Hi there,
Can someone please tell me what these are again? The konosuke knives
Got them a few years back.
The abbreviations confused the hell out of me
Thanks in advance
Here is the FTlets see some pics
Thanks . Is the Myojin stamp that rectangle with the Mt Fuji Symbol on it?Top one is a Fujiyama FT 240 Gyuto
Bottom one is a Fujiyama FM 240 Gyuto.
FT is sharpened by Takada from back in the day when Morihiro was retiring from the Fujiyama and Kono was looking for a new sharpener. If the FM doesn't have the Myojin mark on the left the side, it is from the same time period. If it does have the mark, it was after Myojin was formally announced as the sharpener of the FM.
Thanks . Is the Myojin stamp that rectangle with the Mt Fuji Symbol on it?
