I have checked a recent auction and found some false advertising.
On the auction site the seller is advertising the knife as 180mm while on the original shop web page it was sold as a 165mm. Check the scratch and line pattern to see that it is the same item.

Some measure blade length and others from tip to start of handle. It is not uncommon to run across this in my opinion. When in doubt, email the seller and confirm how they measured.
 
Yep same knife .. edge is 165mm, tip to handle is 180mm .. I measured my own one to verify

well, did you win that cause I think it just ended. I knew for a fact that the knife wasn’t really 180 cause 180 is more WH Nakiri . The store has never ordered 180 in. He orders 165 with kato and this what he receives

This. The seller always gives measurements from tip to handle bolster
