Yo! Gonna cut to the chase, just trimming some fat. These are knives that I picked up but just never use, aka glorified display knives. Nothin’ wrong with ‘em, I could just use the cash more right now since the holidays were brutal for me.
First up, a 180mm Moritaka AS Nakiri. Cleaned up by Sharp Knife Shop, the choil and spine are polished and super comfy. Bevels are flat and taken to an Aizu (like 80% sure), so this would make a great stone tester/polish practice baby.
Specs:
180x55mm
173g
Iron Cladding
Aogami Super Core
Custom Octagonal Handle (Unknown Wood)
Price:$160 SOLD, USA ONLY (international, let’s talk in the DM’s)
Second-u, here’s a barely touched 240mm Yoake Migaki gyuto. Don’t think I need to say much about these since they’ve been hot on the market right now. I will say, though, the edge is so damn thin, it’s hard to take a choil shot without the edge looking bent because the camera keeps picking up the left or right side of the knife. So, expect performance. Unsharpened, used once to test and that’s it, so there’s just a hint of patina.
Specs:
250x54mm
253g
Iron Cladding
Aogami #1 Core
Ebony Octagonal Handle with Blonde Buffalo Horn Ferrule
Price:$285 $260 SOLD, USA ONLY (international, let’s talk in the DM’s)
Tres, a 240mm Kochi gyuto, almost new. From the newest batch, probably the best grind I’ve seen from Wakui-kun. Speckles of patina, unsharpened. I have a dammy Wakui, so this is kinda repetitive.
Specs:
241x52mm
183g
Iron Cladding
V2 Core (Takefu’s “Blue 2)
Burnt Chestnut Octagonal Handle with Black Buffalo Horn Ferrule
Price: $260 shipped, USA ONLY (international, let’s talk in the DM’s)
Aaaaand the best for last, I have a 230mm Halcyon Forge gyuto. Here’s the original shop link:

Got this in a trade, but again, too similar to my other Halcyon. Edge was touched up. Veggie slayer, nuff said.

235x55
211g
Wrought Iron Cladding
1.2519 Core
Ironwood Oval Handle with African Blackwood Ferrule
Price:$725 SOLD, USA ONLY (international, let’s talk the in DM’s)
