There have been a lot of "identify these kanji" threads on the board, obviously because the knives in question have kanji inscribed on them.
Do Japanese-language knife-knut message boards have "Identify these European characters" threads, where they struggle to identify the cryptic Roman glyphs on a Misono vis-a-vis that on a Takayuki Grand Chef, let alone actual western brands like Messermeister/Burgvogel, Sabatier, and F-Dick?
