Chinese Cleavers in the EU...

I've got a friend in the EU that's interested in buying an inexpensive Sangdao; carbon or stainless... CCK, Shi Ba Zi, etc. Struggling to find good sources. Any suggestions?

I got this ChinShun from ugou.de. It's ground thin enough to use ootb. About 220*105 at 370g. The belly is a nice curve, heel and tip about 3mm off the board. Low reactivity. I like it.
Usually they restock.

Unfortunately not... Also, kinda wanted to keep this in the EU, since the way tariffs, duties, taxes, etc are at the moment, it could nearly double the price of the thing if not coming from within the EU.

i have been looking around a bit on Dutch websites (I will let my fellow Europeans do their homework ). Admittedly CCK's and similar are hard to find.

1139 SEK for a KF1303... that's 111 euros right now. Makes more sense to go the ebay route instead then; even if you get hit by customs you'll save money.

Same. But ideally one that doesn't leave you too ripped off either.
I've already looked in most of hte local oriental shops but none of them sell them. They're supposed to be relatively cheap, but not after you add all the shipping and import tax from going the ebay route.

I never got a #3 with stainless handle in my hands. Do you own that knife? 190mm with 292g sounds good, The no1 on the pic and 8mm are irritating?
