A Foster Bros 1180 circa 1950, and Dunlap Cleaver unknown age

Dunlap was pretty rough so couldn’t preserve patina. New scales and rivets

Nice work. Fulton and Dunlap were both Sears brands.

"The Dunlap brand first appeared in the spring 1937 catalog, for hand tools"
Thanks for the history
Love the back story
I’d learned that sears had 3 lines of cutlery In descending order of quality
Craftsmen/sta-sharp
Dunlap
- named after their hardware buyer Thomas or Dunlap Hardware founder Samuel Dunlap
Kwik-cut

Camilius made knives for them under the craftsmen brand

Cleavers aren’t very useful but they’re fun to restore
