Decided I am going to let this one go. Knife was originally sold as a second. I contacted Trey and asked him if he could remember why it was a second. He believed minor carbon migration. It was his first in house hand forged knife. I have used this knife a handful of times in a pro kitchen. Sharpened a few times as well. Knife developed a small rust spot which I polished out but it lost its original finish. Sharpened less than 5 times. Never thinned. Cuts crazy good.I purchased this knife as “new” from a forum member and I believe it was.
