Small knife, small(ish) dice:
I bought a beautiful Peruvian walnut handle from @MSicardCutlery for my Hitohira Tanaka Yohei gyuto, and I finally attached it earlier this week. The knife came with a really heavy ebony and horn handle that put the balance point behind the heel, but with the walnut handle, the knife balances right at my pinch grip.
That’s a handsome combination

Love the rustic KU and simple handle on these. If it were a double blonde handle I’d probably have found a way to have one already.

I hear soap&water is good.
Past experience tells me soap + water + red scothbrite deals with the issue nicely.

Nah - this is actually used regularly in the kitchen by the wife and daughter. Want to keep is somewhat usable shape.
