I got this one new from one of the recent drops from here 230 wa-gyuto HSS1

The knife hasn't been used as I've decided to keep my larger one instead. There is a small crack on the end of the handle that you can see in the pictures. It came to me this way. The crack is perpendicular to the grain, so shouldn't go anywhere, but I filled it with starbond just in case. Balances nicely and feels good in hand in general. Robin's WA handles are very comfortable for me.

Length: 227-228 mm
Height: 54 mm
Price: $600 F&F or $625 G&S shipped CONUS.

Sharpens well and deburs nicely. I sharpen almost everything on diamond stones, so that's a consideration. I haven't tried sharpening it on conventional stones, so don't know how it does on those.

It sharpens well on regular stones too. I sharpen them with sp1k and finish on loos hone, a swedish nat that's ~1500 grit.
Thanks for the input Robin. How does the reactivity of this steel compare to other common knife steels?
