Got a few knives here that I realize others may want to try, and have been sitting too long in my house.
Edit: Dalman $650
I’m funding a new R2 knife and a pen, so if anyone has a FRKZ R2 240mm (not base sukenari, specifically the FRKZ from JCK), Ryusen 240 R2, Takamura R2 240 (pro, hana or uchigumo, I’m not fussy) or Schon DSGN fountain pen in black ultem or peek, lemme know and we can arrange a trade.
Asking prices include CONUS shipping in USD (scroll all the way to the right in the table). Int’l shipping will add ~$50, unless the post office tells me it’s crazy expensive, that’s just my recent experience.
Photos are current condition.
Note:
Bazes is for right-handers, all others are were sold as symmetric, and I find that true as well. Most of these should have public cutting vids if you hunt around KKF or you YT. The Dalman’s probably seen the most sharpening with about 3-4 touch ups at 2-4k. All others have been sharpened less. The Bazes and Nine are nimble lasers. Dalman is midweight s-grind, comes with the massdrop kiri box. Newham is very thin behind the edge, and has the most precise woodworking I’ve ever seen. The saya is substantial, tapered to follow the blade, and leather-lined. It’s a work of art. All prices are lower than what I paid.
