I would really enjoy seeing some knives made with some our damascus by some of you kitchen knife guys.. :knife:

Randy Jr. has whooped up a few billets and is working on 2 more Xtra wide ones which we will be adding to the store in the next 24 hrs.
Some of these in stock billets may be to thick to be optimal for a kitchen knife.. So, what I want to offer to Kitchen Knives Forums members only. FREE precision grinding. We will surface grind to your desired thickness FREE of charge. :eek2:

Please leave a note on PayPal when purchasing, and or PM me here on KKF with your desired thickness. This will delay shipping by 1 day.

This should take you to the steel! http://www.hhhcustomknives.com/knives-for-sale/

We are also currently accepting orders for many patterns of our damascus steels. forged to your specs. I welcome the opportunity to work with you.. :happymug: Please see our custom services page for pattern examples. http://www.hhhcustomknives.com/custom-services/

Excellent Patterns Randy. The prices seem very reasonable too, knowing the amount of hours that go into making a chunk of mascus.

This is cool, and I know exactly how much work this one is to do, and its a lot!!!!!!! for something like this pattern you are lucky to get 15% from the starting billet.
Del
Yea Del. I hear ya. its crazy :eek2: how much steel goes to waste to make some patterns. Yet the finished results are well worth the time and efforts, and ever the loss of materials. :EDance2:

Thanks for the complement on Jr's damascus. Coming from you Del, that is a HUGE complement!! :)

I just finished grinding some of the Reverb pattern damascus. Made a 4 piece set its a 10" chef and a 8 1/2" slicer, with a 3 and 4" paring combo. Figured I would post up a few pics of the Damascus after its ground.. These are full flat ground with blended bevels and convex edges. :) I gota say, This stuff looks AWESOME ground out into a blade!!!! There so much going on it almost messes with the camera image! lol I did managed to get a couple good shots of the pattern!
