Hi David wonder if you would know the wood combination of this board, its a 12" x 12" x 1" meant as my wife's fruit cutting board.

I wouldn't even venture a guess. There are so many species... Do you have any clue from the manufacture at all?

The olive color blocks look kind of like hickory heartwood.
I am wondering if it is a US made board or an import.
If an import there are a gazillion different possibilities.

BTW: beautiful board.
