Deba identity

I bought this 160 deba off of the bay, with pretty much the only info being that it was made by a Yamato. Does the kanji only say Yamato? And does anyone know anything about him?

@SeattleBen yep, this is one of those I bought it as a project knife anyway so mass-produced doesn't really matter

I could have spoke more clearly. What I should have said is teach myself single bevel sharpening. Which if it's anything like anything else I've ever taught myself involves ruining something. So, better a cheap knife from eBay than something else.
