I am selling a set of these. 4 stones: 1000, 3000, 6000, 12000 - all are new and unused.
Asking $150 delivered in CONusa
these are resinoid AFAIK with 1mm thickness on what it feels to be an alum plate (good weight too)
I have used a 1000 and 3000 (I bought 2 of each of those) on my magnacut (paring) and sv35 pocket knife and it works well. A few more comments... there has been a lot of discussion here and many other places, including microscope shots, spectrometer analysis, etc... I am not claiming to be an expert, but for me, they cut those 2 steels just fine. Can't say they were faster or slower than something else, but I went through 1000 and 3000 in about 10 mine to get my magnacut parking to shaving paper, for what it's worth. Are they as good as the others, well, considering they are 1/4th or less, one can't really say that, but to me, they work.
I am only selling because a local buddy of mine traded me his venev ones. I didn't use them yet, so can't say but I'd imagine they are fast/better, but also 3x the price.
