All: Butch Harner posted a note on the Fora earlier about Doug Seward passing away: While Doug's activity on the kitchen knife forums tailed off quite a bit the last few years, he was very active in the early days. He attended many of the ECGs, and was known for teaming up with Butch to make nitrogen ice cream, and for bringing many slabs of hot/ spicy bacon. Doug was active in some knife maker communities, and attended hammer-ins, etc. He also was very big on BBQ, and had a very tasty sauce he used for competitions (and he graciously sent a quart for my 6-year-old son a couple months ago, who considers it the best sauce n the whole world). Doug was very kind and very helpful, and he will be missed a lot by my family and many others.
