Damn Brian, if ever a knife needed a rehandle, thats it. Martell has done a couple two pin Carters for me as hidden tang wa. Make that knife as pretty as it deserves to be.

Custom Heiji KU Nakiri 180 (thinner than usually, runs quite long, very flat, burned chestnut handle)
Compared about 12 Kurouchi Nakiris (incl. Shigefusa, Kato, Watanabe Pro etc.)... this one turned out to be the best one regarding profile, ergonomics, edge retention and food release.
Use it more often than any other knife...

I can see how that little pointy blade gets used a lot.Gotta be this guy. All my gyutos have competition. This knife is used everyday and nothing else in its class has ever come close. Just love this little guy.
