Filling in stone cracks

Hello everyone,

I couldn't find an answer by searching, so decided to create a new thread.

I've got a couple of wild stones that I've picked up a few months ago from a trip to the Alps. I have flattened two stones and noticed a few cracks which might have toxic elements. I have scraped and cleaned the cracks. So, how do I fill them up to make the stone surface flat? I have read somewhere that some people use a glue to fill up the cracks. If this is a viable way, what kind of glue should I use? What are the alternative methods of filling up the cracks?

I use liquid super glue to fill cracks in coticules, but coticules don’t absorb anything.

Thanks. Is there a glue type that I shouldn't use? That could damage the knife / razor?

Superglue (CA) is best. You can use 2 part epoxy, but it's not as liquid.

Don't use anything too rubbery. You want it to set hard.

Wouldn't epoxy be too hard? I've heard that superglue isn't as hard as the stone or steel, but epoxy is some tough stuff.
