FYI: stash of Vintage NOS French Kitchen Knives on sale

IIRC- there are some fans of old French carbon knives here. Garrett-Wade, an old wood working store, found a stash of old NOS knives on a buying trip to France. They have them on sale, while they last, here:

There are some Nogent and some others from Thiers France, including a 13" SS Chefs, 28cm SS Nogent Chef's knife, 10" carbon Chef's, and several others including carbon utility and paring knives.

About 20 years or so ago they put a really large catalog of vintage French knives. It was great just from the educational point of view. I still have the catalog some place but have not been able to find it lately. I used to save every catalog and stored them away in big boxed out in the barn. Really need to sort that all out again.
