Bought brand new in late June. Used less than 10 times. I've bought more Gesshin stones since and have lots of overlap with this.

Is this splash and go?
At the risk of pissing off the bear - yes.

I keep one of these at work in an extra third pan - like the convenience of splash and go. When I need to touch up a "good" knife I'll soak it for 5 min. Like that it allows me to simply strop on the 6K side or do a quick sharpening with both sides. It could easily be the only stone a home cook would need.

@Byphy no trades, sorry. As others have said, I too give it a quick 5-10 minutes soak, then dry it out afterwards.
