Spine thickness (roughly):
3.87 mm at handle, 3.33 at heel, 2.7 midway, 1.25 about 1 cm from tip

Used but still looking basically new condition.

That looks like a good one, a little thinner than some Heijis I've seen! Wished I had the funds. Gesshin Heijis are superb, when I got my Gesshin Heiji suji, Jon spent s long time on it to finesse the knife before sending it out, I'm sure the same can be said for this one. As Panda mentioned, the Heiji semi-stainless feels a lot like carbon.
