Cleaning the knife drawers after overbuying in 2022 :) . Feel free to ask questions or for additional pics. A few notes:

- Prices include WW shipping. I’m in Brazil and use DHL or UPS, it costs me ˜$50 and arrives in 5 days to most places. I tried to price everything fairly so prices reflect only about half that cost.

- 5% discount for Wise payments. PM me if you need references, I’ve been around since 2017. Otherwise, PayPal G&S

- Open to trades (preferences below, not exclusively). If you are in the US, I have an address in Florida where you can ship your traded knife

Second owner. Initial sharpening by Jon, then stropped once on a BBW. Used very lightly at home, same with the previous owner. Great condition except some of the original finish on the cladding wore off (due to patina or Flitz, IDK). Should be easy to touch up with some fingerstones or stone powder/mud.

261 x 54mm
189g
with original box

240 GOKO KOGETSU SK YO-GYUTO
US$200 190 SOLD

240 x 52mm
225g
stock pakka handle

Second owner. Never sharpened, very lightly used by previous owner and myself. Some superficial scratches on the blade. Handle has some wabisabi on the scales, but nothing that bothers me during use (see video for detail).

240 KOCHI KU GYUTO
$270 260 TRADED

240 x 50mm
175g
stock burnt chestnut handle
with original box

Bought at JKI and tested at home. Only sharpened once by JKI.

135 TOYAMA MUKIMONO
$250 240 TRADED

124 x 24mm
80g
stock ho handle

Second owner. Sharpened once by previous owner. I did a full blade refinishing and flattened the bevel. Super fun knife, wish I used it more.

240 KAERU WAKUI WH GYUTO
$300 - SOLD!

245 x 49mm
238g
stock ho handle
with original box

From the first batch, before they got taller and heavier. My favorite profile ever.
Second owner, never sharpened. Still has the original finish, some light scratches from use and knife block.

240 GENGETSU SS GYUTO
$370 - SOLD!

243 x 50mm
169g
stock burnt chestnut handle
with original box

Second owner. Sharpened 2 or 3 times by previous owner, starting at Chosera 1k. I've tested it at home and never touched the edge. Excellent condition with original finish. Has some cosmetic scratches and patina on core steel. [About price: I paid $345 shipped and got hit with ˜$40 in import taxes. Add $50 in shipping cost and PP fees and I'm losing $100 at this price. Next batch at JKI is going to increase in price]

Thanks!

Ever travel to Denmark? 😂
lol I wish, but not in the near plans. but DHL does! :D

been there in 2018, Copenhagen and Faroe Islands. had a great time

That Itettsu looks like a mean laser, crazy thinness and taper.
It is a laser for sure, but it also feels authoritative. big blade that balances right in front of the pinch grip. the maker also managed to squeeze in a health dose of convexity for such a thin knife.

I share your passion! lol

I wanted to edit the title to remove what's been sold but is that ok according to the rules? I'll still leave the information about sold knives in the post of course

I don't think we've considered that. As long as it can be found in a search, it satisfies the intent of the rule.

Not for nothing, but Goko knives are well forged - mine is a 240 W#1 with nashiji finish and it's a wonderful knife.

it's one of the best mono steel lasers I've tried and the SK steel has a nice balance of toughness, sharpness and edge retention.

I have another 240 Goko that's a laser made of Sandvik 19C27 with damascus cladding. Nice knife very light and nimble.

Kochi and Goko gone

Ittetsu still available. Let’s try $500 - they retail for $660 and this one is close to new.
